Patrick and Erica Esteve graduated from the Culinary Institute of America and gained experience in Michelin kitchens from New York City to Los Angeles. Together, as husband and wife, they chose to start a new business venture to change the stigma of “gluten-free”.

They have chosen to focus on creating gluten-free food that everyone can enjoy. Cooking gluten-free food has always been a staple in their family due to a family member with Celiac disease. Celiac disease is an auto-immune disease in which the small intestine is hypersensitive to gluten, leading to difficulty in digesting food. Celiac is a genetic disease where the only treatment is a diet free of gluten.

After consistently being disappointed with the available gluten-free pasta choices in local stores, they decided to create their own. Impasta is pasta that cooks, looks, and feels the same as regular glutenous fresh pasta. We proud our gluten-free pasta in having a “Al dente” mouth feel just like all pasta’s should have.

As the number of celiacs keep rising every year and more people are choosing a gluten-free lifestyle as a healthier diet. Impasta provides a celiac-safe and certified gluten-free option to consumers so celiac members can enjoy Impasta’s products at home without painful symptoms. Impasta is produced in a fully certified gluten-free facility certified by the Gluten Intolerance Group of North America (GiG) and the Gluten-Free Certified Organization (GFCO). If Impasta Gluten Free products are on tonights dinner, you can be sure that everybody can enjoy it.
